Recently, I don't know why- probably my vision of perfection that is my boyfriend- I've been obsessed with weddings.
This is quite a revelation, as before I never ever wanted to get married or have any of that traditional weddingy stuff. All attention on me? Thousands of pounds and years of planning for a single solitary day? It all seemed outdated and wasteful. However apparently I can overlook these things if it means I get to plan a big party and wear a pretty dress (no veil, thanks), as well as getting to solidify my commitment to my man for the rest of my life.
There are some pretty amazing wedding blogs out there, too. Style Me Pretty is full of beautiful, beautiful photos of real life weddings by talented professional photographers which just totally inspire me to look at. I think they could probably convert a nun into a wannabe fiancee. Plus there are loads of tips and ideas to make your party, I mean wedding, your own. Being as I am an avid planner and tip-absorb-er, I love to read it.
Now I just need to start saving for my Vera Wang dress!
